Close Ticket when Subtasks are completed

I need a solution

Hi All,

We use a template for createing new users which in turn has subtasks for setting up different accounts on different systems. I have already created a Rule that emails our Service desk when these subtasks are completed. However, I would like to automate the whole process by having the rule send to a workflow that checks to see if any other subtasks are outstanding and, if not, close the ticket.

I have the "SendIncidentToWorkFlowTemplate" mentioned in a previous post. However, my knowledge of Workflow is very limited and i have not got the faintest idea where to start looking to find a way of checking what tasks are on an incident and then closing if none found.

Any help on this woudl be great.

Thanks in advance.

Andrew
